With the loss, Norwalk drops to 7-1 overall and 2-1 in the NOL, while Bellevue improved to 7-1, 2-1.

The Truckers will likely lose their grip on a top eight position in the Div. II Region 6 playoff standings with the loss, as they entered the game eighth.

Jake Fetherolf was held to 128 yards passing with no touchdowns on 18 of 31 passes with an interception, while Breck Turner had a nice night picking up 144 yards and three scores on 17 attempts.

Dalton Jarvis added 135 yards and a score on 14 attempts for the Redmen.

Sandusky 27, Shelby 21
After last week’s whipping at the hands of Norwalk on the Truckers home field, Sandusky needed to rebound to have any chance of repeating as Northern Ohio League champions. It also needed a shot in the arm before facing two of the leagues's toughest teams in the final two weeks of the season.

It wasn’t easy, but the Blue Streaks got what they needed in eking out a 27-21 victory over the Shelby Whippets.  In trying to find the winning combination, Sandusky coach Mike Franklin had six different ball carriers in the first eight minutes of action.

Ben Fuller ended up being the go-to back, finishing with 76 yards and a late touchdown to send the Streaks to a homecoming victory.

Sandusky also scored on two kickoff returns and a safety for two points.

Fuller led the Blue Streaks with 76 yards rushing.

Tiffin Columbian 46, Willard 8
The Tornadoes scored in all four quarters during the NOL win.

Columbian remained atop the NOL at 8-0, 3-0.

The Tornadoes rushed for 338 yards and four touchdowns.

Lukas Moore tallied a 17-yard TD for Willard. Logan Blanchard led the Flashes with 73 yards rushing.
