He received 209 (44 percent) of the votes.
Abbie Gezo, Oak Harbor, scored 34 points in two wins.
She received 485 (51 percent) of the votes.
The other two nominations for boys’ basketball were Norwalk's Jake Fetherolf with 148 votes (31 percent) and Aaron Casey, Huron, with 114 votes (24 percent).
The other two nominations for girls’ basketball were Perkins' Shannon Ebert with 394 votes (41 percent) and Amanda Cahill, Clyde, with 79 votes (8 percent).
