Theresa Jackson, Western Reserve, scored 42 points in two wins.
She received 165 (70 percent) of the votes.
The other two nominations for boys’ basketball were SMCC's Denarius Harris with 236 votes (33 percent) and Brandon Smith, Perkins, with 206 votes (29 percent).
The other two nominations for girls’ basketball were Monroeville's Breanna Kramer with 72 votes (30 percent) and AuBree LaForce, Vermilion, with 0 votes (0 percent).
