Utter gained 228 yards and scored six touchdowns in the Chargers’ 62-26 win over St. Mary Central Catholic last Friday.
He received 5,228 (46 percent) of the votes.
Schafer eclipsed the 2,000 career mark in assists in Monroeville’s sweep over Shelby last Saturday.
She received 16,229 (56 percent) of the votes.
The other two nominations for football were Perkins’ TreyVon Moore with 4,289 (38 percent) and Norwalk’s Breck Turner 1,886 (17 percent) of the votes.
The other two nominations for volleyball were Margaretta’s Michaela Eisenhauer with 10,174 (35 percent) and Edison’s Rachel Teed 2,450 (eight percent) of the votes.
