Clyde 78, Mohawk 35
The host Fliers defeated Mohawk 78-35 Saturday in the second day of the Town & Country Clyde Turkey Shootout.

Breanne Michaels and Amanda Cahill paced the Fliers with 20 points each.

The Fliers held a solid 38-18 lead at halftime and held the Senecas to 17 points in the second half.

Fremont Ross 48, Sandusky 34
At Fremont, despite a 17-point Blue Streak fourth quarter effort, Sandusky couldn't overcome a slow first half and fell to the Little Giants in both teams' season openers Saturday.

Icelene Smith and Azyah Smith-Crager both put up 10 points to lead the Blue Streaks.

Port Clinton 56, Woodmore 26
At Port Clinton, the Redskins defeated Woodmore in their season opener Saturday.

Hope Thorbahn led the Redskins with 16 points, while Tiffany Coston added 15.

Bellevue 62, Bucyrus 41
At Bucyrus, Bellevue knocked out the hosts at the Bucyrus Tip-Off Classic.

Carly Santoro led the Lady Red (2-0) with 28 points.

St. Paul 64, St. Mary CC 35
At Sandusky, the Lady Flyers defeated St. Mary Central Catholic Saturday in the season opener for both teams.

St. Paul put away the game with a 26-point fourth quarter.

Four players reached double digits, led by Bella Stoll with 16 points.

Hannah Snow placed the Panthers, who were 11 of 14 from the free throw line, with 14 points.

Norwalk 63, Western Reserve 58
The Truckers defeated the Roughriders 63-58 in the opener for both teams.

Jocelyn Thomas and Kaiti Beveridge put away 15 points each to pace Norwalk.
