Willard got off to a slow start, but used a strong defensive effort to grab a 52-37 victory over Edison in non-league basketball action at the Thunderdome on Tuesday night.
The Lady Flashes (3-3) outscored Edison 19-2 in the second quarter to turn its slow start into a 27-12 halftime advantage.
Willard outscored Edison 13-7 in the third quarter.
The Lady Chargers (1-5) used a 5-0 run in the final two minutes of the first to grab a 13-8 advantage after one period.
Willard freshman Gabi Baldridge was the leading scorer of the game with 18 points.
Laura Danhoff had eight points, six rebounds and four blocks.
Ciara Reed paced Edison with 15 points.
