The Norwalk Truckers were pushed to the limit on Friday night, but made just enough plays down the stretch.

Norwalk improved to 10-0 overall and 4-0 in the NOL, while Willard dropped to 7-3 and 3-1.

“We needed a game like this,” Norwalk coach Steve Gray said. “This was good for us."

A Carson Ebert basket early in the fourth gave Willard a 44-43 lead.

Grant Hull responded with a triple for Norwalk and a 46-44 advantage.

Later, with Norwalk leading 53-50, junior Ben Haraway stole the ball near mid-court and was fouled intentionally with 19 seconds left in the game.

Haraway knocked down both free throws and the Truckers held on.

Senior Jake Fetherolf scored 16 points and added 11 rebounds for Norwalk.

Willard’s Hayden Adams scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds.
