Bulldogs end Tigers season

The Huron Tigers saw their season come to a close Wednesday night.

Bloom-Carroll topped Huron 62-54 in the first Division III boys' basketball regional semifinal game at Bowling Green State University.

The Tigers ended the season at 20-6.

The game was tied at 10-10 after the first quarter, before Bloom Carroll surged head.

Two other Sandusky Bay Conference schools will have tournament games Thursday.

The Clyde Lady Fliers are in the state basketball tournament and will play Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown at 6 p.m. in Columbus.

Meanwhile, Perkins takes on Columbus Bishop Watterson at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in Division II boys' basketball tournament action at BGSU.
