Norwalk defeated St Paul and Shelby in a girls’ golf match Thursday at Eagle Creek.

The Lady Truckers fired a 194, Shelby 202 and St Paul 205.

Norwalk’s Miranda Peer-Perryman shared match medalist honors with St. Paul’s Megan Surovjak, both shooting  a 47.

Bellevue 185, New London 204
Kelsey Yontz shot a 40 to lead Lady Red. Brianna Stokes added a 44 for Bellevue,

Cassidy Wise led the Ladycats with a 46.

Boys
Shelby 181, Norwalk 183
Shelby edged out Norwalk in Northern Ohio League action Thursday.

Mason Berry and Jacob Gilson both shot 45 to lead the Truckers.

P. Clinton 166, Edison 175
Joey Kurtz and Sean Black each shot 41 to lead the Redskins,

Alex Bixler and Marshal Tinnel tied for medalist honors at 40 for Edison.

Clyde 149, St. Mary Central Catholic 171
There was a three-way tie for medalist honors as Collin Crooks led the Panthers with a 36, while Clyde’s Garret Rupert and Luke Hohenstein also shot 36 apiece for the Fliers.

Huron 164, Oak Harbor 205
Huron's Keegan Bollenbacher was the day’s medalist with a dazzling 36, while Jack Springer added a 40 for the Tigers.

Ryan Pavlicka led the Rockets with a 49, while Logan Winke shot a 50.

Willard 156, Sandusky 189
Willard’s Hunter Wiers shot a 1-under par 35 to lead the Crimson Flashes to the win.

Korey Mahl added a 39 for Willard (9-1 NOL).

Kyle Dickman led the Blue Streaks (0-10 NOL) with a 43.

Crestview tops Firelands Conference play
Crestview successfully defended its Firelands Conference golf crown Thursday afternoon at Valley View Golf Club.

The Cougars finished at 310, while New London and St. Paul each totaled 356.

The Wildcats took second on a 93 for the fifth score tie-breaker, compared to a 103 for St. Paul.

Crestview earned the three low scores of the tournament, as Josh Brooks carded a 37-33—70, Bryce Lutz had a 37-38—75 and Ben Olewiler shot 40-37—77.

Those three were joined by New London junior Cory Haswell for first-team all-league honors.

Haswell grabbed the spot after winning a one-hole playoff against against St. Paul’s Chris Stang 41-43—84.

St. Paul ended up with three players on the second team including Stang, senior Dusty Roth at 45-41—86 and Steven Farmer 42-45—87.

Junior Levi Oney was low at 49-47-96 for South Central.

Kyle Branham paced Plymouth at 58-50-108.
