Amidst gusty winds all afternoon, Monday’s Edison Invitational came down to which team could best handle the poor conditions.
Olmsted Falls came out on top of 24 teams with a score of 336.
Perkins was third with a 343 and Edison fourth at 346.
Garrett Rupert was the individual medalist, finishing with a 76. The Fliers finished sixth with a score of 349. Willard finished fifth with a 347.
St Paul’s Chris Stang, Huron’s Eric Myles and Perkins’ Max Tamburinno all shot an 80, making the all-tournament team.
Margaretta’s Tyler Smith shot an 81 to make the all-tournament team.
Logan Schaub shot an 82 for Willard.
The Tigers finished seventh with a 350. Jack Springer tallied an 87.
Huron finished one stroke ahead of Bellevue (351).
Thomas Pressler brought in an 84 for the Redmen.
Port Clinton finished in 13th place with a 364. Shane Meek finished the day with an 89.
St. Paul was 14th and led by Stang’s 80.
Norwalk finished 17th. The Truckers were led by Jacob Gilson with an 89.
Oak Harbor finished with a 411, good for a 22nd place finish, led by Ben Cochran and Bryce Rubie who each shot 103.
Sandusky followed the Rockets with a 411. The Blue Streaks’ top finisher was Keith Finlay (94).
