St. Paul topped Western Reserve 25-15, 26-24, 25-21 Thursday in Firelands Conference action. St. Paul’s Sabrina Schaffer was 24-of-26 hitting with 12 kills, to go along with a perfect 14-of-14 serving and eight points. Arlayna Newcomer went 15-of-15 with nine points in serving.

For Western, Theresa Jackson went 9-of-10 with eight points in serving and 43-of-44 with 11 kills at the net, to go with 23 digs.

Monroeville 3, Plymouth 0
The Lady Eagles improved to 10-3, 7-1 after Thursday’s 25-8, 25-6, 25-11 win.

Brylie Schafer led the serving at 25-of-27 with eight aces. Samantha Reer added 14-of-14 with three aces. NL 3, Mapleton 0
Mapleton won the first game 25-20, but New London notched the next three 25-11, 25-22, 25-23 in Thursday’s FC win.

Katie Green had 17 assists with no errors and added a team high nine kills with a .643 hitting percent and nine digs for the Ladycats.

Janessa Kipp picked up seven kills with 17 serving points, seven aces and three blocks.
Alex Bowers gained a career-high 35 digs with 15 serving points and five aces and Josey Brown added seven kills with four aces.

South Central 3, Crestview 0
The Lady Trojans earned a three game sweep with scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-20 over Crestview on Thursday in FC action. South Central improved to 8-5 overall and 4-4 in the FC. 

Anna Hintz led the Lady Trojans with 11 digs and 10 kills.
