St. Paul moves up to first in state

St. Paul moved up to the top spot in this week’s Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association state poll, which was released Monday.

The Lady Flyers (11-0) have 324 points, including 20 firsts.

Sidney Lehman Catholic is second at 267 points. Rounding out the top five are Newark Catholic at 220 points, Marion Local 214 and St. Henry 214.

Norwalk (13-1) remained third in Division II at 281 points. They attained three first-place votes.

Padua Franciscan is first with 404 points and Columbus DeSales second 355.

Huron is ranked ninth in Division III at 127 points.

The other firsts include Mt. Notre Dame with 390 points in Division I and Miami East 467 Division III.
