Huron coach Don Wood’s goal is to win every time his Tigers step onto the court, and they do it with regularity, including Thursday night’s 25-19, 22-25, 25-7, 25-21 win at Margaretta. That gave the Tigers an undisputed Sandusky Bay Conference title, the 14th in Wood’s 20 years at the Huron helm.
It is also the chance to start another couple of streaks as the Tigers had won 12 conference titles in a row before being dethroned last year by Edison, and had a streak of 99 straight SBC wins at one point during that stretch.
With two more SBC matches left on the season, Huron (13-2, 12-0) can once again finish the SBC undefeated.
