Tournament roundup: Norwalk, Port Clinton, South Central win

Norwalk opened up Division II sectional tournament action Tuesday with a 25-4, 25-3, 25-1 win over Toledo Woodward at Huron High School.

 The Lady Truckers improved to 21-2 overall.

Abby Moffit and Geena Freriks each served 20-of-20.

Moffit added 17 assists.

At the net, Kelli Weininger led the way at 9-of-9 with seven kills.

Port Clinton 3, Oak Harbor 2
The Lady Redskins posted a 12-15, 27-25, 27-25, 9-25, 15-9 win in Division II sectional action.

For Port Clinton, Jess Lorensen had five kills and two solo blocks.

Defensively, Marissa Day notched 24 digs.

South Central 3, Seneca East 0
South Central is moving on in the Division IV sectional tournament at Norwalk after Tuesday’s 25-15, 25-23, 25-18 win.

Madison Chandler recorded 70-of-70 with 31 assists in setting.

Dakota Yost served 14-of-15 with seven aces.
