The Lady Truckers did so again in Saturday’s district final.
Norwalk broke an eight-year streak of failing to reach the regional tournament with a 25-21, 25-17, 25-17 win over Willard in Saturday’s Division II district final at Seneca East High School.
Norwalk (24-2), which last reached the regional level in 2004, is scheduled to play at 6 p.m. Wednesday against Amanda-Clearcreek at Ontario High School.
While Norwalk moves on in the tournament, Willard closes the season at 16-9.
For Norwalk, Sam Obringer led the way on defense with 17 digs. At the net, Sydney Obringer went 17-of-19 with nine kills.
Abby Moffit set 86-of-88 with 46 assists.
Laura Danhoff led Willard with 11 kills.
Madison Music had 10 assists.
