Five area teams ranked in state poll

The second Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association state poll is out and the area is represented.

Five area volleyball teams are ranked in the top-20 of their respective division in the second state coaches poll.

Norwalk is ranked third in Division II, St. Paul ninth IV, Huron 11th III and Monroeville 16th and South Central 18th IV.

The Lady Truckers (11-2) scored 215 points.

Padua Franciscan leads the way in Division II wit 292 points.

St. Paul (8-1) has 84 points, Huron (8-1) 71 with one first, Monroeville (9-2) 22 and South Central (8-2) 15.

The other division leaders are Toledo St. Ursula at 414 points in I, Coldwater 290 III and Marion Local 305 IV.
