And it happened.
Ohio State University red-shirt sophomore Logan Stieber repeated as the 133-pound Big Ten wrestling champion.
The Monroeville graduate faced a familiar foe in the finals Sunday at the University Illinois.
Stieber edged out Iowa’s Tony Ramos 3-1 in sudden victory for his championship.
The two met last season in the finals and Logan recorded a 5-2 win.
Stieber was joined by his brother, Hunter, in the winners’ circle Sunday.
Hunter, a sophomore, scored an 8-3 decision over Iowa’s Matt Ballweg to win the 141-pound weight class.
Hunter is also a Monroeville graduate.
Meanwhile, Oak Harbor graduate Cody Magrum finished fifth at 184 for the Buckeyes.
