Edison senior Susan Knight was chosen at the top performer in the Sandusky Bay Conference for the second straight year. But her season isn't over yet as Knight and the Chargers play in the regional tournament Thursday.
Edison had four of the 11 first-team spots on the all-league list.
Knight, a Cleveland State University recruit, is 25-1 on the mound entering Thursday's start. She has a 0.44 ERA with 233 strikeouts. Joining Knight on the first team from Edison were outfielder Karyn Schmidt, designated player KayLee Fox and third baseman Gabby Stoll.
Rounding out the first team were Perkins senior pitcher Kelsey Yaratch, Clyde sophomore Taylor Ardnt at catcher, while Margaretta junior Kendra Gast earned the spot at first base.
St. Mary Central Catholic senior Sarah May earned second base honors, while Margaretta senior Mackenzie Keegan was at shortstop. Perkins freshman Corrine O'Hara and Margaretta senior Elizabeth Kidd joined Schmidt as the first-team outfield.
