St. Mary CC tops Danbury in three, now 2-0

St. Mary Central Catholic notched its second win of the season with a three-game win Monday against Danbury, winning by scores of 25-5, 25-8, 25-17.

Cate Murphy was 17-of-18 serving with four aces and 16 service points, 8-of-9 hitting with six kills, 34-for-35 setting with 17 assists, and added two digs and a block

At Castalia, Shannon Coy had a team high 21 kills and two aces as the Bears won a tight five-game set against the Crimson Flashes, 25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 25-20.
