St. Mary Central Catholic fell to an elite opponent for the second week in a row to start the season, 42-7, to rival St. Joseph Central Catholic.
The Crimson Streaks rushed out to a 21-0 lead after one and extended it to 35-0 at the half.
St. Joseph scored a touchdown on each of its first five drives before SMCC’s Ethan Sennish intercepted St. Joe’s Matt Mehalko in the Streak’s final drive of the first half.
