Post 83 starts Pennsylvania trip on positive note

ALLEGHENY, Pa. — The pitching made the trip to Pennsylvania Friday afternoon for the Sandusky American Legion Post 83 baseball team, as it took a pair of games from Wesleyville and Millcreek at the Allegheny Summer Tournament.

Post 83 opened with a 15-0 win in five innings over Wesleyville and a hard-fought 5-2 win over Millcreek to improve to 24-7 overall.

In the run-rule win, Lucas Will (Sandusky) pitched all five innings, scattering three hits with six strikeouts and no walks.

Against Millcreek, Kyle Fluharty (Willard) went all seven innings, allowing one run on three hits. He struck out five and walked four.
