It will be an open wheel extravaganza Friday night at the Sandusky Speedway as the modifieds and the supermodifieds compete in Day 2 of the 35th Annual Hy-Miler Supermodified Nationals.
The Sandusky Speedway Ignitable Technologies modifieds will be joined tonight by modifieds from other race tracks, resulting in an impressive car count. Following the preliminary races, they will battle it out for a 25-lap feature race.
The International Super Modified Association (ISMA) will join the drivers from the Midwest Supermodified Association (MSA) tonight, capping off the evening with the "Fast Forty", which will set the stage for Saturday's 100-lap supermodified feature race.
The pit gate will open early Friday at 2 p.m. The grandstand admission starts at 4 p.m.
The hot lap sessions will also start at 4 p.m. Qualifying is at 6:30 p.m. and racing will start at 7:30 p.m.
Adult admission is $22, $5 for those ages 6-12 and free admission to those ages five and younger. Pit area admission is $30.
