St. Mary CC earns sweep of NWOCSA Cross Country Invite

St. Mary CC had its top five boys runners all finish in the top 10 Monday afternoon on the way toward winning the Northwest Ohio Catholic School Association Invite at Osborn Park.
In the girls race, the Panthers had enough to edge Tiffin Calvert and Fostoria St. Wendelin, as all three teams were within seven points.
The Panthers had runner-up finishes from two individuals in both races. Lindsay Kaatz was second in the girls race for SMCC in 21 minutes, 42.36 seconds. Trevor Durnwald was the No. 2 finisher on the boys side in 17:26.50.
St. Paul, which was third in the boys meet, had William Crosby finish third in 17:33.28.
The other top 10 finishers for SMCC were: Tony Rodriguez (4th, 17:47.63), Nick Dudenhoefer (7th, 18:39.02), Matt Costello (8th, 18:45.76 and Tony Torres (10th, 18:52.34).
Kirsten Bundschuh of St. Paul was ninth in the girls race in 23:37.27. The Flyers were fifth in the girls standings.
