At the recent USA Swimming Speedo Championship Series, central zone, held July 28 to 31 at Miami University, three Vacationland Swim Club swimmers finished with national time standards.
Sandusky senior Taylor Vargo finished second in both the 100 (1:12.15) and 200 (2:35.40) breaststroke events, to make senior national and olympic trial time standards.
Perkins senior Kevin Bressler made senior national standards in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events and Norwalk sophomore Geena Freriks made junior national cuts in the 50 freestyle.
