Western Reserve rallied past Black River with a touchdown late in a 28-26 win Friday in the opener.

Will Pritt hit Nate Ash with a 21-yard scoring strike on 4th and 11 to cap the victory.

Willie Roth led the Roughriders with 89 yards rushing.

Keystone 19, Monroeville 13
A fourth-quarter touchdown lifted Keystone past Monroeville.

Rick Heck had a big night, rolling up 158 yards on 23 carries. Senior Ryan Sweet caught five passes for 68 yards.

Buckeye Central 28, New London 19
Buckeye Central tallied 28 second-half points, including 16 in the final quarter.

Wildcat quarterback Josh Hamilton went 9-of-16 for 139 yards.

Seneca East 20, South Central 0
Seneca East tallied two late touchdowns to down the Trojans.

Caleb Barnett picked up 56 yards on the ground for South Central.

Lucas 49, Plymouth 42
Lucas outlasted the Big Red with a late touchdown.

Tyrell Edmiston hauled in three catches for 69 yards for Plymouth.
