Norwalk fought off a tight third set to grab a 25-11, 25-11, 25-21, victory over Willard in Tuesday’s Northern Ohio League volleyball action.
“Sam and Sydney Obringer were out tonight, which gave the girls a good challenge to work together as a team and stay focused to win the match,” Norwalk coach Angie Kalizewski said.
Norwalk (10-1, 4-0) served 70-of-73 as a team, led by Alexa Perry at 14-of-14 with 12 points and two aces.
Abby Moffit was perfect in setting at 42-of-42 with 20 assists and 7-of-7 serving with six points.
Madison Music served 10-of-10 for Willard (6-2, 3-1) with four points and three aces, to go with six digs.
