For two more days, Stephanie Gyurke will pull on her swim cap and race for the Pirates.

After Friday, the career of one of Perkins' most productive swimmers is in the books.

Gyurke, a four-time state qualifier and placer, will have her final swims in four events for the the Pirates on Thursday and Friday in Canton.

And the entire ride is still surreal for the girl who has been the face of the program since her freshman year.

"I don't think it's really hit me yet. I still feel like I'm going to have next year," said Gyurke, who has signed to swim for Ohio University next year. "It hasn't hit me, but at the same time ... This is it."

Gyurke, one of nine girls for Perkins, enters hoping for best times for the Pirates and a fun time in the last meet of the year.
