GIRLS SOCCER

  • Oak Harbor 2, Port Clinton 1: Oak Harbor (13-3-1) scored twice on corner kicks by Amanda Hetrick. She was credited with a goal on one and an assist on another, as Taylor St. Clair redirected the kick 90 seconds before halftime.

BOYS SOCCER

  • Norwalk 3, Ashland 1: The Truckers led Ashland 3-1, but the game was postponed with 20 minutes remaining. The game will conclude 3 p.m. Saturday at Lexington. Zach Tanzillo scored twice for Norwalk.
  • Genoa 1, Oak Harbor 0 (OT)

VOLLEYBALL

  • Western Reserve 3, Gibsonburg 0: 25-13, 25-18, 25-11. Western Reserve (16-7) advanced to play Edison (20-2) in the first of two sectional finals at Norwalk High School.
  • Margaretta 3, Fostoria 0: 25-8, 25-12, 25-11. The Polar Bears will get another shot at Huron after breezing through a sectional semifinal Wednesday against Fostoria, 25-8, 25-12, 25-11.
