With identical 4-2 scores on Monday in their Division II sectional games at the McCormick Soccer Complex, Port Clinton and Lexington ensured their places in Wednesday's sectional final.
BOYS SOCCER
Port Clinton 4, Perkins 2: The Redskins, champions of the Sandusky Bay Conference with a perfect 10-0 league record and 15-1 overall, won their third game this year against the Pirates, breaking a 2-2 halftime tie as David Brown and Carter Rumball scored in the second half for state-ranked Port Clinon.
Nick Heminger scored twice in the first half for P.C., while Perkins got goals from Alex Cebull and Bryon Logan, who scored with less than 2 minutes left before half.

Lexington 4, Huron 2: For the fifth time in six years, Huron lost to a Mansfield area team in the sectional tournament., this time to Lexington after the Minutemen stormed to a 3-0 lead in the second half.
The teams were deadlocked 0-0 at the half. Vince Wells scored two for Lexington and Andru Switzer added a third.
Huron's Solomon Dutton made it 3-1 before the Minutement responded with a fourth as Vince Bail scored. John Dusza capped the scoring for Huron, putting the ball in the net on a breakaway and slipping it by Dunlap.
