A brief look at Wednesday's college signings:
COLLEGE SIGNINGSPort Clinton state champion swimmer MacKenzie Stewart signed a letter of intent Wednesday to swim for Virginia Tech. Stewart won the 200 IM as a sophomore in February 2010 for the Redskins’ first and only title so far. Edison pitcher Susan Knight committed to play softball at Cleveland State. Knight looked at several different offers before going with the Vikings, where she felt most comfortable. Chargers middle hitter Abbey Cox will play college volleyball at Clarion (Pa.) University, joining 2009 Edison graduate Emily Stewart. The Golden Eagles compete in Division II. Perkins’ Jordan Fraley signed Wednesday to play basketball at the Tiffin University. Fraley is a two-time second team all-Northwest District selection and two-time all-state honorable mention.
