Nov 19
2011
Four area soccer players were listed on the All-Ohio teams, voted on by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.
Norwalk's Evan Bader and Vermilion's Scott Innes, who were district players of the year in Division I and II, respectively, were on the Div. I second team and Div. II first team.
They were joined by Port Clinton's Jon Brown, a junior, and Huron's John Dusza.
Bader propelled Norwalk to a 13-1-3 record in the regular season. The Truckers were a district finalist this year and for the fourth time in school history.
Brown was the Sandusky Bay Conference's Outstanding Performer for the season, helping the Redskins to a 15-1 record in the regular season and 10-0 record in the league. He scored 16 goals as the Redskins lost in the final second of overtime in the Division II district semifinal to Lexington.
