looking like Tiger Woods doesn't make you play like him. The best area golfer around the SBC is Aaron Ebert, who went to State four years in a row. The kid is very skilled in competitive golf. Next year, watch out for Port Clinton's Marcus Hunt. Huron, St. Mary's and Edison should also have some good golfers.Huron Golfers

Huron does have some excelent players and you should watch out for the tigers this next fall. Ben Meyers, Jeff McMillion, and word around the town is that Ryan Krumlauf will be playing, and if he does he will drive the farthest in the SBC, and will help Huron in the fight for the SBC title, against Edison.ryan graber

i played with marcus last year and he is by far the best in the sbc. i am graduating so i will not be able to compete with him but my guess is that he WILL make it out of districts. good luck to all the area golfers.agreed

I have never played with Marcus Hunt before but why do you think you guys say hes the best golfer around? What makes him different then other juniors in the area. Do you think he is good enough to play for a Div.1 school in Ohio. If so WHY?no, he will most likely not

no, he will most likely not play for a division 1 school although theres a chance. look at guys from the past such as seagart, kurt anderson, aaron ebert. all were better players in my opinion and none are playing for d1 teams, its very hard to get a d1 golf scholarship2008 season

Edison chargers is the team to beat. by far. Whitehouse and Robinette are the best 1/2 combo in the SBC just ahead of Meyers and McMillion and Edisons 3 man Brad Meinert is also a 37/38 golfer. Edisons varsity consists of 6 seniors. -oak harbor will be decent but arent going to be as good as advertised -huron will also be up there w/ meyers and mcmillion but unless they get 2 other consistent high 30 golfers -Predictions: 1.Edison, 2. Huron, 3. Oak Harbor, 4. Margeretta, 5. SMCC, 6. Port Clinton, 7. Clyde, 8. Perkinsas for 1st team honors:

as for 1st team honors: Hunt.Meyers.Robinette.and Whitehouse will all be competing for the top spot. but those four combined with good golfers like: adam rice, brad meinert, jeff mcmillion, jerod ebert, and phil o'sheasbc golf

i think having smcc 5th is way wrong... yes edison is without doubt the frront runners for this year i wouldnt be too surprised if smcc came in second, after a second in the sbc tournament and 4th (i believe) at the CIC tournament they are showing that they are for real early. after meyers and mcmillon i think huron is weak. dont be surprised to see clyde higher then 7th eitheryeaa
