Port Clinton finally pulled away from Oak Harbor for a 55-36 game that, until the fourth quarer, was a close match between the Ottawa Country foes.
Sophomore Hope Thorbahn scored 18 for P.C., Alex Stephenson added 13 and Tiffany Colston 10. Maria Boers scored 22 for Oak Harbor.
Westlake 64, Margaretta 58 The Demons went to the foul line 27 times to just 13 for the Polar Bears in a physical game. Sarah Weyer scored 12 points, Jess Napka 11 and Kendra Gast 10 for Margaretta.
Western Reserve 51, South Central 46 The Roughriders are closer to a fourth straight Firelands Conference title after beating the Trojans. Western is 9-0 after the win, and S.C. is two games back at 7-2, with five games to play. The Roughriders were up 42-29 before the Trojans mounted a late comeback. Carli Patrick had 21 for Western, and Tayler Tackett 22 for S.C.
St. Paul 45, Mapleton 30 Allison Spence had 10 points and the Flyers brought back a road win against the Mounties.
Crestview 48, Monroeville 41 Brooke Barnett scored 17 points but the Eagles couldn't pick up a second win against the only team they've beaten this year.
Plymouth 57, New London 36 Grace Brown scored 17 for the Big Red in their FC win against the Wildcats. Josie Hall had nine points for New London.
St. John's, Notre Dame top Port Clinton The Redskin girls won seven events against Notre Dame, but were on the short end of a 97-89 score, while St. John's posted a 129-35 win in the boys meet.
MacKenzie Stewart (200 IM and 100 breaststroke) and Cheyenne Meek (50 and 100 freestyle) both won two individual events for the Redskins.
