Perkins 65-31 win Thursday night against Edison kept the Pirates unbeaten in the Sandusky Bay Conference and ran their win streak to 12 straight.

Michael Ebert had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds and David Doster added 13 points.

 

Huron 67, St. Mary CC 57 Jake Justus scored 21 points in Huron's third win in seven days, while Aaron Driftmeyer added 11 as the Tigers got ahead of the Panthers early.

SMCC's Denarius Harris led his team with 15 points, and Ryan Myers and Alex Opfer both added 13.

 

Clyde 67, Margaretta 57 Zach Warner had 25 points and the Fliers made 12 of 24 attempts from 3-point range to beat the Polar Bears. Ryan Meyer added 18 for Clyde.

Margaretta's Tyler Hilton scored 17 of his 22 in the second half.

 

Port Clinton 42, Oak Harbor 41 The Redskins hit two late free throws and edged out the Rockets. Jason Mueller made a pair of foul shots with the game tied 40-40 with 5 seconds remaining.

Kelly Freimark had 12 for PC and Greg Haar 15 for Oak Harbor.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Western Reserve 63, Monroeville 25 The Roughriders remained unbeaten in the Firelands Conference (10-0) as four players scored double figures, led by Theresa Jackson and Natalie Robson with 12 each.

 

New London 56, Crestview 35 Cassidy Lang's 21 points led the Wildcats past the Cougars.

 

Danbury 32, Northwood 31 Kelsey Clemons had 15 for the Lakers against the Rangers.
