Below is a look at 14 Register-Reflector area athletes and how they are performing at their Division I baseball programs:

 

- T.J. Blanton, Jr., Bowling Green: In 17 appearances and 17 starts, Blanton, a St. Mary Central Catholic graduate, is batting .345 with five doubles, one triple, two home runs and nine RBIs. Blanton has also scored 10 runs and is 5 for 7 in stolen bases.

- Clay Duncan, So., Bowling Green: In four appearances on the mound, Duncan, a Norwalk graduate, is 1-1 with a 2.08 ERA in 4.1 innings pitched. He has struck out five while walking four and opponents are hitting just .077 off him. In 10 appearances and four starts in the field, he is batting .125 with two singles and four RBIs. Duncan has also walked four times.

- Logan Meisler, Jr., Bowling Green: In 17 appearances and 15 starts, Meisler, a Port Clinton graduate, is batting .433 with four doubles and 13 RBIs and seven runs scored. Meisler has a slugging percentage of .500 and an on base percentage of .470.

- Ryan Price, Sr., Bowling Green: In five appearances and three starts, Price, a Oak Harbor graduate, is batting .111 with a single.

- Brennan Smith, So., Bowling Green: In six appearances and six starts, Smith, a Perkins graduate, is 3-2 with a 2.83 ERA in 28.2 innings pitched. He has struck out 28 batters while walking five and opponents are hitting just .196 off him.

- Bubba Andrews, Fr., Bowling Green: Andrews, a Clyde graduate, has made one pinch-hit appearance so far this season as a true freshman for the Falcons.

- Josh Lowe, So., Cleveland State: In 13 appearances and nine starts, Lowe, a Perkins graduate, is batting .405 with four doubles, two home runs and nine RBIs with six runs scored. Lowe also currently holds a slugging percentage of .676 and an on base percentage of .436.

- Corey Chaffins, So., Eastern Michigan: After missing an entire season due to Tommy John surgery, Chaffins, a New London graduate, has made five appearances and two starts while compiling an 0-1 record with a 6.48 ERA in 16.2 innings pitched. He has struck out 17 batters while walking seven.

- Andrew Chafin, Fr., Kent State: In six appearances for the Golden Flashes, Chafin, a Western Reserve graduate, is 2-0 with a 1.72 ERA in two starts and 15.2 innings pitched. He has struck out 19 batters while walking eight and has also registered two saves.

- Kyle Hallock, So., Kent State: In three appearances for the Golden Flashes, Hallock, a Perkins graduate, is 1-0 with a 0.55 ERA in two starts and 16.1 innings pitched. He has struck out 10 batters while walking six and opponents are hitting just .182 off him. Hallock also earned a save in his first appearance of the season.

- Josh Wierzba, Jr., Toledo: In 11 appearances and six starts, Wierzba, a Port Clinton graduate, is batting .250 with three doubles, four RBIs and seven runs scored. He also has a perfect fielding percentage in 13 put out attempts.

- Matt Zahel, So., Toledo: In five appearances, Zahel, a Margaretta graduate, is 2-0 with a 1.17 ERA and four saves in 7.2 innings pitched. He has struck out five batters while walking five and opponents are hitting just .160 off him.

- Cody Dearth, So., Youngstown State: In five appearances for the Penguins, Dearth, a Bellevue graduate, is 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA in three starts and 20 innings pitched. He has struck out nine batters and walked five. Dearth's ERA leads the team.
