No surprises Friday in the Sandusky Bay Conference, where Perkins, St. Mary CC, Clyde and Huron all won their games.
Perkins is 13-0 in the league after a 62-53 win against Margaretta, the Fliers and Tigers (both 9-4 in the league) had comfortable wins against Edison and Port Clinton. Clyde won 72-30 and Huron 63-49. St. Mary CC was a 61-47 winner against Oak Harbor.
NORTHERN OHIO LEAGUE
Norwalk's 66-58 win against Willard gave the Trucker the outright title, pulling away in the second quarter and holding the Flashes off.
Columbian and Bellevue both had five-pint wins. The Blue Streaks had a 67-62 loss to Tiffin Columbian, their third straight loss by five points. The Redmen have their signature win of the season after knickingoff second-place Shelby 58-53.
Connor Smith's buzzer-beater gave St. Paul a win against Crestview, 50-48, and Western Reserve and New London both won to remain tied for first place in the league.
The Roughriders game with Plymouth opened up in the second half of the 55-45 win, while the Wildcats got ahead of Monroeville early for a 70-52 win.
