The Pirates won four out of five matches Monday to defeat the Blue Streaks in non-conference play.
Perkins got a victory at No. 1 singles from Dalal Hamad, who defeated Hannah Riedy in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. Teammate Taylor Vaughn, despite losing the first set, beat Sandusky’s Kim Reid, winning 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.
The Lady Streaks lone win came at No. 3 singles, where Sarah Stroll won her first set in convincing fashion, 6-1, but faced trouble in the second set before finishing off Perkins’ Marie Henley 7-5.

The Perkins No. 2 doubles team of Lynze Daughery and Keli Daugherty had a little more trouble, winning the first set in a tie-breaker before closing out Sandusky’s Taylor Linden and Brianna Cheek in the second set 6-3.
