Kudos to Romeo Crennel for making the right call and naming Charlie Frye as the starting quarterback. Either that or the coin landed in favor of Frye. In any case, Charlie gives the Browns their best chance of winning -- Sunday against the Steelers and all season long, provided he stays healthy. Brady is a nice face for the organization, and a heart-throb for all the female fans, but it remains to be seen whether the Notre Dame product is the next Joe Montana or Rick Mirer. (At this point, I'm leaning toward Mirer, whom Seattle made the second-overall pick in 1993. Who's Rick Mirer? Exactly my point.) If Frye enjoys two solid seasons and the team wins, maybe Phil Savage can salvage a second-round pick for Quinn. Let's hear from all you Brady Quinn lovers — defend your guy.
